You talk to the maker
The person quoting your job is the person printing it. No ticket queues, no offshore routing, no "your geometry failed validation" emails.
3D printing service · Glasgow
Tough everyday plastic (FDM) and fine-detail resin printing with published prices, honest material advice and same-week turnaround — from a real workshop on the southside, not an upload portal routing your job somewhere else.
What we print
Two technologies under one roof. FDM builds strong, dimensionally reliable parts in engineering plastics — the right call for anything that has to work for a living. Resin (SLA) captures detail FDM physically can’t: miniatures, jewellery masters, dental-smooth surfaces, parts destined for silicone moulds.
Not sure which you need? That’s our job, not yours. Describe the part and we’ll pick the process and material honestly — including telling you when 3D printing is the wrong answer.
Materials
| Material | Best for | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|
| PLA | Prototypes, models, indoor display pieces | Crisp and rigid, but softens in hot cars and sunny windowsills — we’ll warn you if that matters. |
| PETG | Everyday functional parts, kitchen and bathroom fittings | Tough, slightly flexible, handles moisture and knocks. Our default for replacement parts. |
| ABS / ASA | Outdoor parts, car interiors, anything near heat | ASA shrugs off UV and weather — the pick for garden and vehicle jobs. |
| TPU | Gaskets, feet, bumpers, flexible clips | Rubber-like. Bends instead of breaking. |
| Carbon-fibre nylon | Load-bearing brackets, tooling, drone and bike parts | The serious stuff — stiff, strong and light, priced accordingly. |
| Standard resin | Miniatures, figures, masters for moulds, fine detail | Beautiful surface finish; brittle in thin sections — not for load-bearing parts. |
| Tough resin | Functional prototypes needing detail and durability | ABS-like toughness with resin-grade detail. |

The big platforms need an STL before they’ll even quote. We start from a photo and a tape measure — we do the design.
You get photos of the finished part before it leaves the bench. Collect it in Newton Mearns and check the fit on the spot.
Send a file if you have one, a photo if you don’t. Fixed price back the same day, most jobs finished in 2–5 working days — priority 24–48h service available.
